PMYP-Qalandars Cricket Talent Hunt Hunt Lands in Lahore on Wednesday

The next phase of Nationalwide Cricket Talent Hunt Trial under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) is scheduled to begin in Lahore on Wednesday. The initiative is being jointly organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Lahore Kalandars.

Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – August 6, 2025) For Rana, CEO of Lahore Kalandars, shows the country’s permanent passion for a huge participation from Young Cricket.

He said that InternSim is not limited to players – agents, cricket clubs and local associations, who are also actively encouraging division and nominating Talena.
“So far, more than 122,000 young players have registered and participated in the country’s act varial holding trial,” he said.

In Sindh alone, more than 48,000 players converted to triangle places in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukur, Larkna and Shaheed Benzirabad.
In Balochistan, 14,000 participants from five designated areas gathered at the Information Technology, Engineering and Management (Buitemes) of the University of Balochistan at Quetta.

In southern Punjab, tests in Bahawalpur and Multan collectively attracted more than 26,000 players. Faisalabad recorded around 20,000 participants, with more than 12,000 young cricketers joined the trials in Sargodha.
HEC director Sports Javed Memon said that such a large -scale participation is evidence that is effectively attractive in positive, healthy and competitive activities.
The HEC, the Prime Minister’s youth program and the teams of Lahore Kalandars are actively present at places to send a transparent selection process and give full opportunities to young players to show talent.
Following two -day Lahore tests, the next stages will be helped in Sealkot and Rawalpindi.
