Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Friday approved Pakistan’s first skill impact bond – a modern model that will attract private investment

Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th July 2025) Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Friday approved Pakistan’s first skill impact bond to provide employment to the youth.

He approved the project which was presiding over a review here on the roadmap to provide employment to the youth.

The model is called the “pay-for-unsight”, under which public or donor funds are issued only when independently verified results, such as employment generation or a certain range of income, in the region.

Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister directed that steps should be taken to enhance the capacity of the youth, train them in efficient which suit contemporary reports, and ensure employment training.

He expressed satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s youth program, Ministry of Foreign Pakistani Affairs, National Professional and Technical Training Commissions and all concerned institutions, youth.

He said that the youth should be provided opportunities to learn local languages of other counties so that they can help in the residence of employment.

A sensible roadmap is based on an estimated number of job opportunities and a deer of youth should be presented in Pakistan and abroad, reviewing the process of implementation of the roadmap. Two months.

The Prime Minister said that the training of skilled people for employment abroad should be given priority.

A campaign should be launched to provide employment opportunities on digital youth hub, he said.

The meeting was informed that the federal government was working on the instructions of the Prime Minister, to pass the employment of youth in Pakistan and abroad.

The participants were informed about the annual estimates of employment provisions to the youth in Pakistan and abroad under the new program. The program will empower the youth and will assist them in self-reliance, entrepreneurship and director job placement.

The meeting was informed that till now more than 500,000 people have registered under the Digital Youth Hub, with more than 1.7 million people downloading its application.

Apart from this, more than 500 companies are registered. Pakistan had more than 47,000 ampliements opportunities and more than 100,000 jobs were available in addition to more than 2,000 schools. More than 500 institutions, including Pakistani embassies abroad, are associated with government agencies, private companies and other NGOs, portals including United Nations.

Federal Minister Ahad Khan Cheema, Atoula Tarar, President’s Youth Program Rana Mashod Ahmed Khan, Member Rashtra Vidhan Sabha Amina Batol and senior officials concerned attended the meeting.
