The company said on Tuesday that Planck, an infrastructure protocol, which is targeting the Artitive Intelligence Boom, has supported the AI network on Tuesday.

Blockchain is designed to serve as a basic infrastructure for AI applications, especially designed for decentralized physical infrastructure networks (depins). These networks combine hardware, tokens and distributed processing to make options for centralized resources such as cloud services.

This step aligns with the growing pushin of the crypto industry to bring the web 3 principles of decentralization for AI development, a field still dominates centralized players such as open and Google.

Planck AI is one of the many blockchain projects working on an alternative approach to decentralization. For example, Bittensor focuses on decentralized machine learning, which facilitates the manufacture of AI agents through its decentralized platform.

Planck says its blockchain transaction fee, SDK use and developer tooling will jet the protocol revenue. Meanwhile, the GPU operators providing computable resources will be rebuilt with the indigenous tokens of the protocol on UPTE (proof-off-delivery) of the machine.

GPU Rental and AI Chip Crunch

Most of the Planck’s revenue comes from renting the GPU and calculating contacts. The company says it costs up to 90%, compared to traditional cloud services, on-demand model slash.

Since February, the company produced $ 1.5 million in revenue, mostly from GPU power rent. The company also completes along with other infrastructure providers such as vast.ai, coreweave and lambda, capitalizing all of which on the ongoing AI chip shortage.
