Sargodha, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Saturday ruined 30 kg of foul -fouling and unwavering meat in raids.
Kasbant for a press release by the PFA office, a PFA team raided a meat shop on Qasr-E-Zainab Road, seized unhealthy meat and destroyed it. The meat lacked certification from any authorized slaughterhouse and was disqualified for human consumption after inspection by the veterinary office.
A PFA spokesperson said the meat was confirmed by emitting a smelly odor, being dissecting the dissected animals and posting Serus Health RICCS to consult.
After inspection, the case registered against the shop owner for attempting to sell the contained meat.
