PFA conduct raid in fake milk factory operated in residential area

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Rawalpindi has operated and discontinued a fake milk manufacturing unit inside a residential house in inhuman sector in a large crack against decorating Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July 2025).

For PFA spokesperson, the unit was producing synthetic milk using dangerous ingredients, including vegetable oils, powder milk and chemicals, which are putting public health at risk.

While raiding, the authorities seized more than 100 liters of fake milk ready for distribution. In addition, large amounts of vegetable ghee and other harmful raw materials were used, which we also recovered.

All the seized fake mills and materials were destroyed on the spot under the supervision of the Food Authority.

The spokesman said, “The operation was started following the report of verification of suspicious activities in the area.”

An FIR has been lodged against the main benefit at the local police station, and further legal action is going on.

The spokesperson encouraged the citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspected food related activities for the Food Authority helpline. “Public support is necessary to eliminate adulteration mafia.
