Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News -26th July, 2025) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued a flood warning for the channel and the rivers and other surrounding tributaries, which is warning the public and the medium -level flood officials till 28 July.
For the alert issue on Saturday on Saturday, PDMA has been warned of an unusual increase in water levels in both rivers, Urdu the Alert has been displayed with the Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Fasislabad, Multan, and Dera Gaji Khan Division along with the Divisions. Sargodha, Khushb, Zhang, Khanwal, Multan, Kot Adu, Muzaffargarh, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Chiniot.
Relief Commissioner Punjab, Nabil Javed, have established all the concerned departments – Macliding Vasa, Local Government, Agriculture, Irrigation, Irrigation, Health, Forest, Livestock and Transport Alerts.
He emphasized that all the predecessors should be finalized in advance, according to the directors of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Emergency control room employees are directed to stay on high alert, while 1122 have also been investigated to prepare for rapid deployment of teams of disaster reactions. Officials have been asked to ensure timely withdrawal of people and livestock from the banks of the river and set up relief camps with food, clear drinking water and necessary facilities.
Director General PDMA, Irfan Ali Kathia urged the public to strictly follow the precautionary guidelines and cooperate with the officials. “The Punjab government will be sensitive to the security and welfare of citizens and their livestock,” he assured.
