Quetta, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2025) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan has completed these preparations for the estimated monsoon rain, which ensures the readline to respond to the possible emergency situations in the province.
For PDMA director Faisal Tariq, active measures were taken under special instructions by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaz Bugti. All nesteri precautions have been implemented before the onset of the rainy season.
“In the light of potential emergency situations, the leaves of all PDMA employees have been canceled, and a strong 24/7 monitoring and reaction system is in place,” the director Tariq said.
Heavy machinery has been pre-illuminated in weak districts to support rescue and relief efforts.
Additionally, six newly built divisional headquarters are now working for rapid deployment if needed and supplying relief.
PDMA’s official Faisal Tariq Yusufzai said, “These centers will give time for assistance to their respective districts.” The emergency response of the department capabiilites.
The control room of the PDMA will be completely functional around the clock throughout the monsoon season, which can lead to continuous coordination and sharp knowledge.
The Authority’s forward planning aims to reduce risks by communities, infrastructure and flood floods for agricultural land and other rainfall hazards.
