The passenger aircraft crashed near the Chinese border in eastern Russia, and a terrible fire broke out.
According to the World News Agency, Antonov N -24 model aircraft owned Angra Airlines, which flew from Blagovishinsk to Tanda.
The aircraft disappeared from the radar during its second landing attempt, but no technical fault was reported earlier.
Media reports say that due to bad weather and lack of visibility, the aircraft misinterpreted the height and possibly hit the trees.
The Emergency Ministry of Russia says the aircraft’s debris was found in a mountain forest area, about 15 km south of Tanda, where it was not possible to arrive immediately due to difficult weather and land structure.
The aircraft had 42 passengers and 6 crew members, including 5 children. None of them survived. There is also a Chinese traveler.
The Governor has expressed regret on the accident and announced a 3 -day mourning.
Russian aviation began an investigation into the accident. However, Russian aviation is already suffering from Western sanctions.
