Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News-25th July 2025) Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) organized a Majlis-e-Masalama in relation to the holy month of Muharam-ul-Haram, which for the martyrs of Karbala for the martyrs of the Imam Hussain (AS) for the war of Imam Hussain (AS).
The event was presided over by Renocked Poet Nasim Sahar, who was the chief guest, which came from the famous poet Inam Madem, who came from Karachi.
The guests of the honor included Qayoom Tahir, Mehboob Zafar and Akhatar Usman.
On behalf of the Academy, its director, Muhammad Asim Butt welcomed respectable guests and attendees.
In his President’s address, Nasim Sahar appreciated Pal for organizing Majlis-e-Masalama and thanked for the initiative.
Academy Executive Director, Sultan Nasir said in his comment that as per tradition, the academy organized this Solemin incident to every Muharram-ul-Haram to pay the markets of Karbala.
He said that this year the program was delayed due to renewal and restoration activities in Sheikh Ayaz Conference Hall.
He thanked the guests and spectators distilled for taking time out at the event.
A large number of poets paid poetic tributes to the martyrs of Karbala through Salaam, Mankat and Eligible poems.
Those who paid their tributes among Nasim Sahar, Qayum Tahir, Inam Madem, Mehboob Zafar, Akhtar Usman, Dr. Farhat Abbas was involved.
