Pakistan’s demographics captured the country as a major catalyst to adopt bitcoin (BTC), allowing it to develop “Leapfrog” developed nations, according to Bilal bin Saqib, the Chief of Pakistan state of Crypto and Blockchain.
In a special interview, bin Saqib told the cointale Pakistan film government to regulate Crypto in November 2024.
There are 40 million crypto wallets in the country and one of the “top five” counties in terms of crypto adoption, which the minister blamed for Pakistan’s youth demographic. He told cointelegraph:
“Pakistan has an average age of 20. We have 250 million people, and 70% of the age of 30.
“There are emerging markets that jump to adopt these new techniques,” developed counties. Bin Saqib said, “It is easier to move a speedboat compared to the Titanic.”

Cooperative partnership with Al Salvador for bitcoin development
The minister said that Pakistan and Al Salvador signed an incense letter in July to know about education and energy development for Bitcoin, Digital Asset Infrastructure and Crypto English in July.
“Cooperation is essentially based on how the two emerging economies under the IMF program that can benefit from technology and other financial institutions for national development,”
The minister said that Pakistan’s National Crypto Council and other regulatory bodies are demanding inputs on a compressed regulatory structure for digital associates, licensing Crypto exchanges, laying a strategic bitcoin reservoir, launching a stabilcoin and mining bitcoin using additional energy, said the minister said.
Bitcoin mining with extra and runoff energy sources
“Pakistan has a very interesting problem.
He said that there is an “liability” due to the cost of electricity in the country, which is up to 10,000 MW (MW) of additional energy.
Bin Saqib said that the country is also that the government is discovering the possibility of BTC mine with runoff energy from methane and other additional or trapped power sources, he said.
