Pakistani scholars say for unity, connectivity and inclusive development at SCO Media and Think Tank Summit

Beijing, (APP – Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th July, 2025) Hasan Dawood, Senior Associate Professor at Bahria University and Senior Advisor at CEEC Pakistan Branch, urged the development challenges of Asia.

Speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit in Zhengzhou on Thursday, Dr. Dawood stressed that despite the remarkable progress of Asia under Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), South Asia lives globally in minimum integrated areas, with intraistic trade under 5 parents – contradictions with 60 percent of the European Union. He said, “The political fragmentation region continues for business, investment and dynamics,” he said.

Highlighting the important role of strategic infrastructure in transport and maritime areas, Dr. Dod called to raise the new financing system and innovative cooperation models. “It is against gravity to argue against globalization,” he quoted Kofi Annan.

“In the vulnerability of this era, we need platforms such as brimi and SCO not only for connectivity, but for collective flexibility,” CEN said on Thursday.
