Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2025) Pakistan has won a bronze medal in the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPHO), which has yet to mark the scientific journey of another important Achiest country.
The International Physics Olympiad (IPHO) was helped in France from 17 to 25 July.
Danil Shahzad Hamid, a student of Science School, a student of T Chowk, GT Road, Rawat, Islamabad, held a bronze medal for Pakistan.
Additionally, the beautiful shool, Muhammad Bilal from Lahore, made a respectable mention, while Fazia Inter College, PAF Base Noor Khan, solidarity with the solidarity IPHO Award.
The award includes € 5,000 educational grants and an-year patron to encourage inclusion in science and technology.
The Pakistani team was sponsored by an associate interest of the STEM Career Program, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS). The team was trained and led by profiles. Dr. Shahid Qamar and Dr. Muhammad Irfan, both from PIAS.
The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) conducts the Pieas, National Science Talent Contest (NSTC) under the umbrella of the PAEC in four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
The NSTC was evolved from the National Physics Talent Contest (NPTC), which was launched by Pieas in 1995 and caught regularly since 2003.
For a news release, the purpose of these competitions is to nurture youth talent at the intermediate level and prepare for participation in the International Science Olympiads (ISO).
Each year, students from 19 cities of Pakistan are investigated and trained in specified institutions. Pieas Training Students in Physics, NIBGE-C in Biology, Hedge Research Institute of Chemistry of Chemistry in Chemistry, and Comsats in Mathematics Lahore. Each subject representative in ISOS is the best 4 to 6 students in Pakistan.
Since Pakistan began participating in the IPHO in 2001, and later in other Olympiads, more than 365 students have represented the international count internationally, earning 139 medals. More than 240 training camps have been organized, about 4,500 students have benefited under the STEM career program.
This year’s success in IPHO re -presents Pakistan’s commitment to promote scientific exceptions and empower its youth through global platforms.
