The Pakistan snooker team returned home after attending 2025 after attending the IBSF World U -17, U -21, Masters and 6 Red Mains Snuker Championships 2025.
Pakistan won a total of 2 gold and one bronze medal in these competitions, Mohammad Hasanin Akhtar won the World U -17 and world champion Mohammad Asif won the World Masters title.
Former world amateur champion 19 -year -old Ahsan Ramadan won a bronze medal in the world under the 21 championship, after participating in the competition in Bahrain city Manama, the national team players were welcomed at the Karachi International Airport.
The National Association president Alamgir Sheikh and along with other officials along with loved ones and sports fans, leaves were cut on the players, the necklaces and bouquets were presented, the atmosphere was echoing with the slogans of Pakistan.
Talking to the media, world champion Mohammad Asif, who defeated Bargesh Damani of India, said that he was very proud to defeat Indian rivals, thank my family and the whole nation for his success.
He said that it is always happening that when a world champion comes, no government representative comes to the reception, which regrets.
Mohammad Hasanin Akhtar, who won the World U -17 championship, said that he is proud to win the title and illuminate the name of Pakistan in the world, parents and nation’s prayers will try to increase the country’s flag by winning the global title in the future.
