Pakistan, China Inc. MoU to strengthen marine cooperation and shipping development

Islamabad, (Urduppuint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – July 24, 2025) Pakistan Marine Sector has been designed for significant progress after signature of a memorandum (MoU) condition, Shipping Corporation (PNSC) and China’s Shandong Zinxu Group Corporation.

For The Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the agreement was formalized during a ceremony during a ceremony during a ceremony, both the federal federal minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhary.

Speaking on oxasity, Minister Chaudhary outlined the importance of MoU as a milestone in the form of glory marine partner Pakistan and Chinese. They do not have a strong basis for future cooperation, investment and development in Pakistan’s shipping industry.

The minister said, “This MoU is a symbol of intensive cooperation in the pirate domain, which enables mutual development and strengthens Pakistan’s position with global shipping ecosystem,” the minister said.

Headquarters in Karachi, the PNSC serves as the country’s leading national flag bearer under the Ministry of Marine Affairs, while Sandong Shinxu Group Corporation, Zibo City, is located in Zibo City, Shendong Province, which are engaged in major Chinese enterprises international trade and shipping.

Agreement establishes a strategic framework for cooperation and commercial engagement

The key joint and the person have the support mentioned in investment and purchase of merchant cargo ships – which includes liquid bulk tankers, dried bulk carriers, and container ships – as well as arrangements based on profit and loss sharing models.

The MoU further provides PANSC for PANSC through variable charters to lease the Vescils by Xinxu, including time charters, spot charts and bareboots.

Additionally, PNESC will expand a rank of commercial, technical and administrative management services for ships, as mutually agreed. These services will cover vessel charter, marketing, revenue optimization, maintenance, dry-docking, creating and regulatory compliance.

This understanding also included XIINXU to support the investment of PNSC in coverage and other floating platforms by Shinxu. These arrangements have to be given to commercial competitive conditions to enter financial vins and mutual benefits.
