Pakistan Army launched rescue operation in flood-hit Babusar

NMDA issues a landslide warning to the northern regions of the country in view of predicted monsoon rains and powerful slope instability

Baltistan: (Urdupoint / UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Juli 22Ra2025) Recently due to floods in Babusar and on the Karakoram highway, the Pakistan Army launched a rescue operation for trapped tourists and passengers.

Tourists and passengers have been safely evacuated for safe places through army helicopters.

So far, fifteen helicopters trimmed have been conducted to transport people for safety.

The Pakistan Army and the Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts teams are giving food and necessary support to the affected persons.

Emited Medical Aid is also being provided to the injured.

Machinery and personal are working continuously to restore the routes, road clearing efforts are going on.

Babusus and Karakoram are removing obstacles on the highway.

Search and rescue teams are displayed to detect missing persons.

The Pakistan Army has also carried out a rescue operation on the hit Scardu-Desai Road by landslides at various places.

Following tireless efforts through the night, the engineering teams of the Pakistan Army have completely cleaned the road from Scardu to Sadra Mountaineering School and Devosai to Devoi Sadpara village, using heavy machinery.

All blocked routes have been detected and trapped individuals and vehicles have been safely evacuated.

The traffic has resumed and is now flowing smoothly.

The army’s trump is posted in the ISA to immediately respond to any possible emerging situation.

Meanwhile, the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) of the National Disaster Management Authority (NEOC) has issued a landslide in the northern regions of the country in view of the forecast monsoon rains and possible sloping instability.

According to meteorological projections, rain is expected to rain in various valleys of Gilgit, Hunaza, Estore, Damor, Ghunch, Ghunch, Muzaffarabad, Neelam Valley, Bagh and Poonch in various valleys in various valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
