Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday that the leadership of Pakistan and Iran is committed to bring the amount of bilateral trade to $ 10 billion as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif regretted the martyrdom of Iranian generals, scientists and citizens and prayed for forgiveness and immediate recovery of the injured.
He praised the courage and knowledge of the Iranian leadership during the aggression of Israel, saying that Iranian people and forces fought the Israeli attacks and highlighted the Israeli defense system through counter -mental attacks.
The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s principle stance on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program under the United Nations Charter, saying that Pakistan will always be in its position.
In the fight against terrorism, the two countries agreed that terrorism could not be tolerated. The Prime Minister said that if someone is a victim of terrorism in Iran, then it is equal to an incident in Pakistan. Both brother -in -law will take effective steps to end terrorism.
The Prime Minister said that the worst massacre of the Palestinian people in Gaza continues and the way the Iranian leadership has raised voice in favor of Palestinians is commendable.
According to him: “Pakistan has always stood with Palestinians and recently the Deputy Prime Minister has effectively presented the situation of Pakistan to the United Nations Security Council.”
He said: ‘Newborns are being killed, mothers and youth are being killed, their blood has turned red on the streets, food distribution paths have been closed, due to which innocent children have to die of hunger. These scenes are going to break the heart and the words cannot explain them. ,
The Prime Minister insisted that Muslim Umma and the international community would have to take practical steps, otherwise history will not forgive them.
He said that the situation in India -Kashmir’s situation is no different from Gaza, where the massacre of innocent Kashmiris is going on. He thanked Iran’s support for the Kashmir issue.
Pakistan is my second home: Iranian president
Iranian President Dr. Masood Pajiki said in his conversation that he was grateful to the support of the Parliament, government and people of Iran during the 10 -day Israeli invasion.
He said that Pakistan and Iran have deep relations based on religion, culture and history. He called for the unity of Muslim countries citing the poems of Allama Iqbal.
He said that the neighboring policy is a top priority in his foreign policy and Pakistan is not only a neighbor but a brother country.
The Iranian President expressed satisfaction that serious and honest efforts were underway by the two countries to cooperate in various fields and steps were being taken to increase the existing $ 3 billion trade.
He said that important documents have been signed today which will increase cooperation in various fields. He said that both countries are committed to implementing these agreements and the development of land, air and naval routes will promote trade.
In view of the dangers of terrorism, he referred to the consensus to further strengthen the border security of the two countries.
The Iranian President called the development of trade and economic cooperation for peace, prosperity and stability in the region.

Documents of separate agreements were exchanged in the fields of science and technology and information technology, while documents of contracts were exchanged in the fields of tourism, culture, heritage, metros, climate change and natural disasters.
The two countries exchanged documents for marine security and fire fighting, judicial support and reforms.
On the occasion, a sub -MOU document of the Air Safety Agreement was also exchanged, while the agreements between the two countries exchanged contracts for the implementation of product standards and the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement.
