Pakistan and China agree on technical cooperation in major digital regions

Islamabad:

Pakistan and China have agreed to promote bilateral technical cooperation in major digital regions.

According to its ministry, there was an important meeting between federal minister Shaja Fatima Khwaja and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad, discussing the expansion of cooperation between Pakistan and China in the digital sector.

Federal Minister Shiza Fatima Khwaja and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong have agreed to promote bilateral technical cooperation in major digital fields.

The ministry said that during the meeting, the two countries confirmed their commitment to strengthen their long -term partnership in emerging technologies and on the occasion, Federal Minister Shiza Fatima highlighted Pakistan’s digital vision, which is the use of digital equipment to improve the growth and public services of the economy.

Chinese Ambassador Jiang assured China’s practical support and exchange in Pakistan’s digital development.

During the meeting, there was also a possibility of increasing efficiency in the major sectors of the joint enterprise, knowledge exchange and digital economy, and both sides emphasized the importance of making technology a source of equal development.

According to the IT Ministry, the meeting expressed its commitment to promote mutual interest -based measures that would further strengthen digital cooperation between Pakistan and China.
