Pakistan accepted the West Indies’ request to maintain ODI.
Despite the sale of schedule and tickets, the PCB was reluctant to confirm the series, the squad was not announced.
The board demanded that the Asia Cup and World Cup be converted into T20, although the West Indies were not considered, the series looked limited at one point but Pakistan softened the situation.

The West Indian Board said that they have to play more ODIs to reach the World Cup, so it is not possible to change the schedule, now the series will be played under the previous program, there will be similar ODIs after three T20s.
