Stellantis, Chrysler’s parent company, recalls 121,398 Jeep Grand Cherokees on second defective headrests which may not lock the vertical position, increasing the risk of passenger injury, according to a notice of recall poster Wednesday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
“A reservoir of the front bent can increase the risk of injury to occupants in certain types of accidents,” said the opinion.
The recall affects some Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L Cherokee L 2023-2024. To solve the problem, the owners of recalled vehicles can bring their Jeep Grand Cherokee to their local dealer, who will inspect and if necessary will replace the two head stresses of second row for free.
The notification letters of the owners of vehicles will be posted on September 5. Owners can contact customer service at FCA US (also known as Stellantis North America) at 1-800-853-1403. The number of Ataltis for this recall is 20C.

Stellantis also recalled more than 63,000 Jeep Cherokees in January Due to a defect that makes the power of vehicles lose and hinder parking.
