Ny Giants Insider makes a statement by Major Jameis Winston

Regarding the situation in the quarter of the New York giants, there are a lot of questions before the 2025 NFL season. The big question that revolves around Jameis Winston is whether he will spend the season without being exchanged another team.

This does not mean that Winston has no value for the giants. The only reason he would be exchanged is that he could suddenly become more precious for another team, according to their QB room.

Some teams have quarters on the hot seat, without proven backup. Other teams, unfortunately, have injuries during the season, which could force them to seek an expelled backup. Winston could certainly be a target for the teams of these posts, but an initiate Giants suggests that the veteran will not leave the building without a massive offer to the Giants.

“They do not exchange Jameis unless someone makes a sponsor offer,” wrote Art Stapleton of Northjersey.com on X.

“His signature was calculated, and they like his presence in the room. He is here for two years at a good price unless something unexpected happens. If everything goes as planned, Dart and Jameis 1-2 in 2026.”

A report recently suggested that Winston initially obtained support as a potential starting quarter of the Giants in 2025. The signing of Russell Wilson led head coach Brian Daboll to publicly confirm that Wilson, and not Winston, will get the wink at the start of the year.

Even if Winston ultimately did not beat the Jaxson Dart recruit for the rescue position behind Wilson, he brings much more than a set of skills and an experience in the field. Winston has often been congratulated for his leadership, especially in recent seasons.

At 31, Winston saw a lot in the NFL as a starter and backup. During his first five years with the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay, Winston was a full -time start. When he arrived at New Orleans’ saints, Winston was signed as a safeguard of Four Seasons, starting in just 10 games during this race.

Winston started last year in seven games for Cleveland Browns because the injuries affected the QB position. He completed 61% of his passes for 2,121 yards, 13 affected and 12 interceptions. Winston agrees with two years, worth $ 8 million. Unless there is a sudden change in heart or a “sponsor offer”, Winston seems to be in the building for the next two years.
