Patna, (UNI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed the Education Department to immediately calculate and start the vacant posts of teachers in the state schools of the state.
Mr. Nitish Kumar said in a post on ‘X’ today that after calculating the vacant posts of teachers in the state, his appointment should be started through TRE -4 examination. He also directed to follow 35 % reservation given to women in recruitment.
According to the previous data released by the Education Department of the Government of Bihar, more than two million teachers in the state are vacant, of which about 36,000 seconds and 33,000 are for secondary level teachers. The new diagnosis is likely to exceed two and a half million.
Bihar Government Education Department recently issued a notification and requested an application for 7279 posts. Of these, 5534 are for first to fifth grade teachers and 1745 are for teachers from sixth to eighth. Selection tests will be conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission, for which the time limit for applying is 28 July. Soon, the Education Department is preparing to take applications for another 80000 vacant posts of teachers. Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, this is likely to accelerate.
