New endoscopy technology improves early detection of esophageal cancer

London, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – August 08, 2025) Helmholtz Munich, Technical University of Munich (Tom) and Medical University of Vienna have developed an adified imaging technology called “O2E” which allows the clinics to be detected.

Published in Nature Biomedical Engineering, the study showed that Abhinav Endoscopy Technology also reveals even small pathological tissue changes that improve annual identity and diagnosis.

Esophagal cancer ranks between the most deadly cancer: When diagnosed in an advanced phase, the survival rate is only about ten percent. However, if determined early, about 90 percent of the patients survive. The new O2E technology can play an important role in identifying changes in esophageal tissue in long ago stages.

O2E combines two imaging techniques to a new endoscopy technique. While October is especially effective in capturing tissue structures, optoachastic imaging (OPAM) – a method that stimulates tissue with light pulses and detect ultrasound signals as a result of allyumination – even the smallest blood vessels in deep tissue layers can be visited.

By merging these techniques, functions arise in high-resolution 3D images and esophagus of tissue structure. Both sensors are integrated into an endoscopy capsules that scan the tissue in a full 360-degree angle.

“Our dual imaging system exposes important characteristics of early cancer lesions, including subtle structural changes below the mucous surface and higher microvascular changes within the cancer tissue, that the previous methods were unable to death,”. Vasilis NTJICristos said, “Director of Belological and Medical Imaging said.

In his plot studies, Riskers examined the esophagus of animals and tissue samples from the patients with the esophagus of the barrett, which was a precursor to the esophagel cancer. They identified different differences between healthy tissue, tissue, anterior stages and malignant tumors with abnormal cellular changes.

The early proof-off-primary tests were performed on the internal lips of a volunteer, as it shares the Simula tissue characteristic with the esophagus.
