“There is no alternative to sanctions, strengthening the long-term capacities of Ukraine and the difficult actions against the Putin and Putin circle itself,” wrote Yermak. “He only wants the war and defeat of Ukraine. And there will be no defeat.”
Referring to the scrambling of NATO planes and the drone crossing Lithuania, Yermak added: “The Russians and their satellites test the reaction of NATO. The drones entering the airspace of the Baltic countries are signals that cannot be ignored.”
Zelenskyy also posted for telegram by noting that kyiv “constantly strengthens the Ukrainian air shield and that it is very important to maintain the full understanding of the partners on how they can help. Steps, we are filling the gap in the financing of drone production and this week, I will have new discussions with partners concerning this task.”
