Saeed Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi, Chief Coordinator of GDA, a political alliance of various parties in Sindh, which belongs to the Pirpagada family, has said that the government should understand the difference between nationalists and separatists, we do not need to take a certificate of patriotism from anyone, our family has given immense sacrifice for Islam and piston. The importance of the Indus rescue movement has gone ahead after Indian threats on the Indus Treaty.
The plan to withdraw several canals from the Indus River, allegedly supported by President Asif Zardari, later opposed the project, and PPP President Bilawal Bhutto also held a rally in Sindh as GDA and separatist organizations strongly condemned the party’s plan against PPP. The federal government was forced to withdraw, after which the GDA and separatists are not satisfied.
The GDA has an important role in the Sindh Rescue Committee River, which includes some national parties and Sindh nationalist parties, and in this regard, an important meeting of the GDA was held in which Presidentuddin Shah Rashadi had to say that the government should understand the difference between nationalists and separatists and decision making.
It should be noted that a group of lawyers of Karachi after PPP after PPP had also joined the government’s plan to evacuate the canals and also organized a protest on the border of Sindh Punjab, headed under the leadership of Karachi Bar, and they were also involved in protest. The canal project on the Sindh River was against the interests of Sindh where there are already water problems, but the GDA is not part of any allegations and separatists make various allegations.
Pir Sadaruddin Shah has rightly said that GDA will be interested in Sindh to protect the water of Sindhu. On the issue of canals, PPP also had to voice the voice of its political opponents as it was a problem like Sindh’s life and death, but the government had to withdraw its decision in compulsion. It is said that nationalism is not really wrong, united for its territory, exercising its rights by increasing the voice of every nationalist and PPP and GDA which was not necessary to save the Indus River.
The separatist organizations in Sindh and Balochistan have been present today for decades. Compared to Sindh, the separatists of Balochistan have reached a large extent, which has introduced a series of separation movements such as BLA in the country’s enmity, spreading chaos in Balochistan, the country’s smallest and poor province, who have received weapons, financial and all kinds of support from India.
They have been running the separation movement of Sindh for decades, but the nationalists of Sindh do not support them, nor do they believe in the separation of Sindh, but they have the rights of Sindh and they have seats in the general elections of the country, while Sindh’s separatists are not even politically. There is a gentle attitude, clarified by open slogans, their specific flags and axes against the separatists in Karachi, which is many times damaging the police and their mobiles with the Karachi police, but the Sindh government does not initiate an opposing action against them.
Former caretaker Prime Minister and Bhutto era, popular national leader Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, formed a party of his national people, which separated from PPP, after which his eldest son and former federal minister Ghulam Murtaza Jetoi maintained politics from NPP.
Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi and his brother, who have been the provincial minister, have been established twice and have been arrested, who were released on judicial bail every time, and GDA Jetoi brothers declared PPP cases and arrests as political vengeance of PPP. Afaq Ahmed of MQM Real has also made similar allegations against the Sindh government as the Sindh government is being treated like Jetoi brothers.
