NAB recovered more than 547 billion in six months

NAB has recorded a record recovery of more than 547 billion in six months.

The data released by the National Accountability Bureau states that NAB confirms a firm commitment for public interest and recovery of lost national funds. In the same continuity, NAB recorded a record recovery of Rs 345.3 billion in the second quarter of 2025 (April to June), while a total of Rs 31.547 billion was recovered in the first two quarters of 2025.

Out of the first 2 quarters of 2025, immovable property and immovable properties worth 33.532 billion were handed over to federal and provincial ministries, departments and financial institutions. Similarly, in the same period, NAB returned 12,611 victims in various cases of fraud.

Nab Rawalpindi recovered 51 kanals of valuable government land (29 billion rupees) in Sector 11 -E of Islamabad and handed over to the CDA. Similarly, a large amount of Rs 3 billion rupees was recovered in a large case of deception (B4U), which would be distributed to 17,214 victims.

Nab Sukkur recovered land worth Rs 25 billion of National Highways Authority. Sindh Education and Literacy Department of 127 Kanals and 15 Marla Land, 160-895 million rupees, Nab Sukkur recovered.

NAB Lahore distributed Rs 3.2 billion in the Eden case to 11,880 victims, while NAB Lahore recovered 8 assets worth Rs 9.3 billion in the Pak Arabian residence case, which will be provided to 2,500 victims as money.
