In a prescribed push to strengthen Pakistan’s social security trap, federal power supernatural and federal minister, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, compared to operate in Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) offices in Peswa.
Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News-24th July 2025) In a prescribed push to strengthen Pakistan’s social security trap, federal minister and social security for federal power, Syed Iman Auded SHH, made a compressed review of operating in Benazir Income Assistance Program (BISP).
Part of their national oversite mission, underlining the government’s resolve to see that welfare services are intense, transparent, and effectively reach the weakest areas of society.
In the BISP Zonal Office, the minister was informed by Director General KP, Hyder Murtaza on the main operational milestone. More than 1.47 million beneficiaries at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been manifested under the ongoing Dynamic National Socio-Sentan Registry (NSER) update, adding 1,736 new persons to the program. A total of 140 dynamic registration centers are currently provisional functions, which are performed by 466 professionals of NADRA, NCCHD and ASPCS.
The minister also reviewed the progress of Benazir Nashonuma program, which has supported more than 600,000 women and children serious 2020 through 148 dedicated centers.
He was conveyed to the reach of the Benazir Kafalat program, which now benefits about 2 million persons in KP, in eight in Malakand and Peshawar divisions.
While traveling, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah planted a plant under Benazir Green Pakistan initiative, symbol of the Ministry of Long-term commitment to social development as well as environmental stability.
Later, in the PBM Regional Office, Director Lal Badshah informed the minister on a series of spopport services provided by the organization. Thirty Vocational Training Centers in KP are actively equipped with skills in embroidery, information technology and other trades. PBM is also running eight orphans in the provision, providing shelter, safety, and education to about 800 children up to matriculation levels, monitoring all facilities, which have been monitored for child protection.
A news release said that the minister was also informed about PBM’s educational scholarship for child laborers, financial assistance for persons with disabilities and stipend for widows, which aims to promote opportunity among the population of dignity, self -sufficiency and margins.
Appreciating the impressive work done by PBM, the minister emphasized that funded aid should be combined with efficient skill development and employment generation.
He highlighted the Hunarmand Pakistan program as a foundation stone in empowering the youth and stimulating sustainable economic girls.
He further emphasized the need for strong institutional coordination between BISP and PBM, to eliminate repetition, ensure effective data sharing and maintain the merit-based distribution of services. “Transparency and efficiency are the backbone of a reliable social security system,” he said.
Addressing the employees of both institutions, Minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah referred to the government’s commitment to justify, inclusive welfare:
“We are committed to include, non-discounted welfare. Responsibility.”
The minister also assured that administrative challenges such as vacant posts, poor internet connectivity and insufficient transport facilities will be added on priority basis. He issues a clear institution for zero tolerance on corruption, emphasizes accountability in all well -to -conduct.
Looking further, the minister announced that the next focus area in the ongoing National Welfare Review Bolochistan will be the next focus area, in which fresh innocents have been planned for housing, livelihood and vocational training.
