The speaker urged the private sector and the Chamber of Commerce to play an important role in increasing economic and trade integration between ASEAN and Pakistan.
The seminar on the theme of “Economic Integration between Pakistan and ASEAN” was attached to Federal Minister of Investment Kasar Ahmed Sheikh and Federal Ministry for Food Security and Rerera Rana Muhammad Tanveer Hussain and Association of South East Asian countries (Asian) and diplomats.
Addressing the ceremony, the federal minister for boi, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that Pakistan’s economy would be expecting $ 1 trillion in the coming years and investors of China, Middle East and Asan Calsey will get a golden opportunity to invest in Pakistan.
The minister said that the Pakistani government is providing adequate facilities to investors, and Pakistan’s economic rating is improving every passing day.
On the oxasity, Food Safety Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Pakistan has established and established diplomatic relations with ASEAN countries.
The minister said that Pakistan can provide an excellent business partner for the ASEAN region due to its strategic place.
Tanveer said that Pakistan is eager to expand cooperation with ASEAN countries in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, IT, energy and other fields.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the government is committed to regional trade and diplomatic relays.
He said that an incident about economic relations with the ASEAN region in Pakistan’s Federation is notable for connecting this problematic economic block with Pakistan.
President FPCCI Extreme Ikram Sheikh said that it is an earthquake that Pakistan and Asan are important trading partners and Pakistan’s experts from ASEAN countries are $ 2.2 billion.
The Chairman of the FPCCI said that Pakistan’s imports from ASEAN countries are more than $ 8 billion.
He said that there are opportunities to invest in Pakistan in various regions for ASEAN Counties sectors and in future the cause of Pakistan strategic trade between ASEAN ASEAN countries and Pakistan increases more in the future.
The Atif said that Pakistan is an important source of inter-regional coordination globally and an investment in the agricultural sector in Pakistan is a price opening for ASEAN.
He said that Pakistan is the first county to establish diplomatic and business relations with the material of ASEAN region.
President FPCCI said the quantity of bilateral trade between Pakistan and ASEAN countries is $ 11 billion, and strategically, Pakistan is a way of connecting asan counts and light easts through Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
He said that millions of skilled people of Pakistan are serving in ASEAN countries, and investors from ASEAN countries should take advantage of the opening of various types of investment in Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan and ASEAN countries have a lot of possibilities in seafood, agriculture, leather industries and other areas.
He said that there are huge opportunities to increase trade in areas.
Vice President FPCCI, Eun Ali Syed said that Pakistan and ASEAN have hung a huge possibility of including the current trade of $ 11 billion except $ 30 billion in the coming 10 years.
