Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th July, 2025) Punjab Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited the under -construction homes under the “Apna Chat, Apna Ghar” scheme in Thakar Niaz Baig, Lahore on Sunday.

He visited the house of a separate-leftist man, offered prayers to the family, and placed a comfortable hand on the man’s daughter’s head in a gesture of compassion.
Fata (Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency) Director General Sikander Zeshan and officials of Allied Departments were with the minister during his visit.
Bilal Yasin said that laborers, shopkeepers, road vendors and daily wages are benefits and build their homes with a date. More than 7,500 families in Lahore Division have received interest-free loans on merit basis. He said that about 6,000 houses are currently under construction in Lahore. He said, “This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a housing initiative of such magnitude is progressing with transparency and speed,” he said.
The Housing Minister further announced that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would soon unveil additional facilities for the beneficiaries of the scheme in Punjab.
