McDonald’s said that he was testing 10 new drinks in hundreds of American stores while entering the next stage of his “drink trip”.

The Change of Hamburgers said that it was responding to the preferences of generation Z customers for daring drinks combinations.

“We see real importance in drinks, with more people – especially our Gen Z fans – transforming to cold and tasty drinks like a treat,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, chief of McDonald’s Customer Experience and Marketing Officer, in a press release. “It is an excellent opportunity for us to respond to the evolutionary tastes of our American customers and to appear in new moments, such as a refreshment of the afternoon or snacks.”

The new range of drinks is inspired by the lessons that the fast food giant has learned through His failed company called CosmcA chain launched in 2023 that focused on coffee and other drinks, with offers similar to Starbucks drinks. The company closed the chain in May.

Instead of operating autonomous stores, McDonald’s will bring a range of at least five different cosmc drinks to 500 McDonald’s restaurants across the United States, drinks, which McDonald’s describes as “cold cafes, fruity refreshments, craft sodas and dynamic roommates,” will first be available in restaurants Wisconsin, Colorad and the company of the company.

Here are some of the new drinking offers:

  • Cold infusion with creamy vanilla
  • Strawberry watermelon refreshment
  • Sprite Lunar Splash
  • Tropic refreshment
  • Toasted Vanilla struck

The company aims to develop and capitalize on the growing demand for customer demand for tasty drinks.

“We are not only adding drinks on the menu – we make our global drinks platform progress which naturally corresponds to the way people already appreciate McDonald’s,” said Charlie Newberger, McDonald’s beverage in a press release on Thursday. “We have the structure, the tools and the team to move quickly and evolve what works. This first test on the American market is a big step in our global direction.”

Drinks will be available in stores from September 2, depending on the company.

McDonald’s recently reintroduces its popular snack envelope And Spicy Egg McMuffin Sandwich while trying to strengthen sales and attract clients tired by inflation in its stores.

Sales with comparable stores fell 3.6% in the first quarter, marking the largest drop in the company since the COVVI-19 pandemic, when the chain was forced to close the stores nationwide.
