Ancient Formula 1 Driver and Sky Sports F1 journalist Martin Brundle warned Mercedes From the difficult phase, the recruit driving of the Andrea Kimi Antonelli team seems to be in its recent reverse. Brundle said that the 18 -year -old driver can change the situation with the help of his team.
Until now, Kimi Antonelli has scored points in six of the 12 Grands-Grands, with his best finish being the Canadian Grand Prix, where he has obtained a place on the podium by finishing third.
However, the following race in Austria saw him commit a recruited error, crashing with the quadruple world champion Max Verstappen in the first round. In Silverstone, the delicate conditions with almost zero visibility crashed on Isack Hadjar with Kimi Antonelli, an incident that assured that he was out of the race.
While F1 returned to Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix, Antonelli turned at high speed during the qualification of the race for sprint. It was probably the result of the aggressive contribution of the Italian driver, which led him to go directly to the gravel. The incident made sure you started the race for sprint of the last place on the grid.

Brundle thinks Kimi Antonelli needs the help of his team to manage the pressure. Speaking during the Sprint racing at Spa, where the Mercedes driver obtained P17, Brundle said:
“Antonelli is in a really difficult phase, and the team must make sure that this does not turn into a crisis for such a young man under so much pressure.
“Melbourne was an incredible performance for him in the most difficult conditions, then he obtained his podium in Canada.
“In one way or another, errors slipped later than I thought. And then I think he is in a spiral situation at the moment. He can overturn it.”
Addressing the media of his spin during the Belgian GP Sprint qualification, Kimi Antonelli said:
“I don’t know, it was actually a pretty decent trick. I was around P4, and yes, it was just weird, because I lost it completely at the exit.”
He added:
“I just need to check, maybe a burst of wind. But it was quite weird of the way I lost the car.”
However, he was positive about the rhythm of his car for the race for sprint. He said:
“The car felt good on my knees, so I’m really confident for tomorrow, and we will try to reset and wait impatiently tomorrow.”
