In his official X account, Martin answered a fan’s question, asking him if the broadcaster prefers the current play -off format because he is interested in seeing “fewer people”. Answering this, what Mark Martin wrote is here:

“No. I think they prefer it because they don’t know or understand the car racing. Only sticks and hair sports. They want to be like that they know. The only problem is not that they do not understand why there are 36 teams playing in our championship instead of two.”

The current Champions Format needs drivers to qualify for playoffs and then win the race by winning the race or scoring the most points in the race. As a result, the driver, who lives in winning 16, round -of -eight, four rounds, four rounds and championship race, will be able to win the trophy.

Old format, however, was based on points. By the end of the season, the driver with the highest points will be honored. It was also called the Winston Cup series.

What did Chase Elite say about the current play -off format, did Mark Martin confirm something?

Chase Elite openly condemned the current play -off format, saying that he preferred the old full season points system, which made Mark Martin praised him wholeheartedly. Talking about this, the handicraft motorports here said:

“We have a really good and competitive battle for a regular season (championship) – make me wrong if I am wrong – the last two or three years. It has really been very tough under Datoona. If you just take your samples in the first 26 weeks, it looks like a solid for me.”

He added, “If you had only the whole season, this system would be fine. And if anyone runs away with it, what? Let’s celebrate the fact that someone ran with him, someone was so good.” (Through Jeff Glok on X)

Neskar changed his position with the Old Winston Cup series Championship and introduced the play -off format in 2004.
