Team Ireland won three bronze medals at the European Olympic Festival (EEOF) in Skopa on Friday.
Athlete Ellis Mc Hug and Joe Burke both of the gymnast Chester Enricians claimed a bronze medal before winning the third medal in Ireland in a boys’ floor practice.
Elise Mac Hug came home in the third position in the final this morning, competing in 400 meters of barriers, with 59.25 time. After half an hour, Burke set a personal best time for 21.22, a new Irish record, so that boys can fight bronze in 200 meters.

Reacting to his medal, Mac Hug describes his generation by saying:
