Lewis Hamilton says he is making a “big push” to change Ferrari as he “refuses” to become the latest star driver who failed to win the World Championship with the team.
Hamilton has endured the first disappointing first campaign with the Italian team, and has failed to score the Grand Prix Podium in his first 12 races in red, failing to meet the pre-expectations of being a SF-25 title challenging car.
However, a seven -time world champion is standing in the fact that he can win his blockbuster switch from Mercedes, and has already been revealed before the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend. Sky Sports – He has been presenting documents with key figures at the team’s Miranelo factory for the past two weeks and holding meetings.
Hamilton said Thursday: “I was in the factory a few days every week. Naturally, you are going to the extent where we were in the previous race, something we need to change.
“I made many meetings. I called many meetings with the team’s heads, so I (Chairman) John (Elkin), (Chief Executive) Bendito (Wagna), (Team Principal) for Fred (Vasur), and talking about it with many meetings with me, and talking about it. Is with the car.
“I have sent documents during the year. After the first few races, I made a complete document for the team.
“Some of these are structural adjustments that we need to make as a team we want to improve in all fields that we want to improve, and then the other was really about current problems that I have this year’s car.
“For the first time, I tried 2026 car and started working on it. The engineers come to the room and sit down with each of them, so a big, big push.”
‘I’m going to extra mail!’
Ferrari’s last silver equipment came in the form of a 2008 constructor championship, while his recent victory in the drivers’ championship was delivered by Kim Rikonin a year ago.
Since then, both Fernando Elonso and Sebastian Vettel have failed to include the World Championships, which they won somewhere with Ferrari during the stunt, while Riconin also missed his second round with the team.
Hamilton’s teammates are running their seventh season for the team, and they have failed to increase a permanent championship challenge.
Asked if they could provide more information about the documents they were presenting, Hamilton explained the desire to claim the record of the eighth drivers during the final phase of his career.
The 40 -year -old said: “The reason is that I see great abilities inside the team. I am passionate, nothing comes close to it. It is a huge organization that does not need a lot of parts, and they are not firing on all the cylinders they need.
“I think it’s my job to challenge every area, challenging everyone in the team, especially the boys who make decisions.
“If you look at the team in the last 20 years, they had amazing driver – you had Kimi, you had Fernando, you had Sebastian – all the world champions; however, they didn’t win the World Championship. For me, I refuse to deal with me.
“So, I’m going to be extra mail. I have been very fortunate that there have been experiences in two other great teams. While matters are definitely going to be different, because there is a different culture and everything, I think that sometimes if you get the same way every time, you get the same result.
“I am just challenging some things. They are incredibly responsible. We are improving in many areas, through marketing, through everything we are providing permanently for sponsorships, the way engineers continue to work. There is a lot of work and improvement, but a lot of work is responsible.
“I guess finally, I’m just trying to make and prepare allies within the organization, pressing for them … I’m here to win, and I don’t have as much time as it (18 -year -old Kimmy Antonily).
“So, it’s a time of crisis. To me, I really believe in the capabilities of this team. I really believe that they can win a number of global championships. They already have a wonderful legacy, but during my time, this is my sole purpose.”
