Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) The government has decided to set up a smart water management plant to stop polling water in Ravi.
Senior official sources in the WASA told the app that waste water treatment plants have proposed at 6 outfall locations in the city. In the first phase, Babusab and dagger band will begin work on waste water treatment plants.
The price of Babu Sabu Water Treatment Plant will be around 60 billion rupees, and the dagger band West Water Treatment Plant will cost Rs 23 billion. Both projects will be met with funds from foreign donor agencies.
He said that with the construction of all waste water treatment plants, Lahore water will be done. To pour water into the Ravi River, it will be used for agricultural purpose.
