KP predicted more monsoon rain

An alert has been issued to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the view of another monsoon rains.

Peshawar, (Urdupoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th July, 2025) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released another perspective of another mantra of monsoon rains predictable by Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Kas for PDMA, heavy rains due to thunderstorms are expected to be expected from July 27 to July 31, 2025 in various districts of the provision.

Among the districts affected districts, Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Malakand, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bajaur, Mohamana, Khabar, Vajiristan, Orakai, Maira, Maira, Manesha, Abbra, Abbra, Abbra Abbad, Abbra, Abbra, Novashera, Mardan, Swabi, Hungu and Kurram. The forecast includes strong winds, thunder and heavy fall.

The PDMA has warned of a possible flash floods in seasonal streams and Nallah, which perform in Mansehra, Kohistan, Abotabad, Galiiat, Chitral, Dir, SWAT, Banar, Banar, Bunar, Swabi and Mardan. Landslides in mountaineering areas and urban floods are also at risk in low and low areas.

The authority stated that the intentions may increase the water level in the rivers SWAT, Chitral and Panjkora due to rainfall, possibly leading for flood situations.

District administration, rescue 1122, and other relevant agencies have been established to take precaution measures. These include traffic management on weak roads, clean and complete readiness of emergency services from drains and waterways.

Farmers have been advised to harvest their crops quickly and store them in Saif places, which are requested to take powerful measures for their animals. The public has been requested to avoid illegal visiting areas and unnecessary travels, which avoids winds, hailstorms and lightning travels.

The PDMA said that the IT Emergency Operation Center is fully operational and can report any emergency by calling citizens helpline 1700.
