Kohistan corruption scam figures came out

Peshawar:

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has revealed data on the corruption scam exposed in the upper Kohistan.

According to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), seven accused have been detained in the scam so far, while 12 accused in the scam have filed interim bail applications.

The NAB said that there were 20 orders related to freezing the property of the accused, 32 petitions have been filed in the accountability courts on the basis of objection by the accused against the NAB order.

The statement said that more than 40 billion rupees were withdrawn from the state treasury in the upper Kohistan scam, money was withdrawn in the name of development plans, but there were no development plans on the ground.

The accused nominated by NAB included contractor, government employees and bank officials, and NAB says various persons including Azam Swati have been investigated in Kohistan’s corruption scam.
