The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have retired after serving ‘terrorism’ for a decade after serving against ‘terrorism’.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have completed their 10 -year job for years, two heroes, Dugs Deep and Cane, who have been quietly working for years.
Both detective dogs of the K9 unit assisted not only to the bomb disposal unit (BDU), but were also present in the search operation of procession sites.
Born in 2016, Deep was considered an expert in identifying bombs during his service.
During an operation at The Khan in 2021, Deep explored an IED bomb at a suspicious place, which was later defined by the bomb settlement unit.
Deep and Kane also participated in dozens of secret operations in sensitive areas such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa like Di Khan, Bainu, Lucky Marwat, Kohat, Hungu, Mardan, Swat and Khyber districts.

Under the K9 unit, 19 districts of the province are deployed in the province, not only with the help of terrorism but also against drugs and other crimes.
K9 Unit Inspector Jehanzeb Khan said that after retirement, these heroes will be placed in the unit, where air -condition rooms, specific handlers and complete medical facilities are provided, and all dogs will be provided with all facilities as new trains are available.
Jahanzeb Khan also said that the average age of dogs is 10 to 12 years. Deep and compartments are increasing age, causing the smell of these two dogs to feel and have become physically weak.
Deep and Cane Trainer Waqar says that he has trained Kane since 2017, so he is more attached and remembers in the field.
Waqar Khan said, “Kane and Deep are now more careful than ever before because these detective dogs are very loyal and our companions, soldiers, many operations without them were impossible.”
