One of the suspects was injured in a firing between policemen and road criminals in Quaidabad area of Quaidabad, while his partner managed to escape on the spot.
According to the police, the suspected motorcycle drivers started firing on seeing the police, to which the police also responded immediately. One of the suspects was injured in the shooting, identified as Mir Ali.
Police say a pistol, mobile phone and cash were recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. The injured suspect was immediately shifted to the hospital for first aid.
According to the Qaidabad police, the criminal records of the accused Mir Ali are under investigation, while raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the fleeing colleague.
