Karachi, Asif Bhutto meets British High Commissioner, education, health and women welfare

Karachi:

British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi.

The meeting discussed issues of mutual interest, regional and global conditions and various aspects of social development.

The meeting paid special attention to the areas of education, health, empowerment and youth development, while the sides agreed to further strengthen relations between Pakistan and the UK.

Speaking on the occasion, Bibi Asif Bhutto Zardari praised the status of the British Prime Minister on Gaza’s position and said that there is an immediate need for peace in the world and the international community should raise effective voice in favor of the oppressors.

The meeting was also attended by British Deputy High Commissioner Lens Dome and Hadia Ikram, political advisor to the High Commissioner, while Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pachho, member of National Assembly Shazia Murari and member Provincial Assembly Qasim Somro also participated in the conversation.

Bibi Asif Bhutto Zardari also informed the guests about the social development measures of the Sindh government and said that the PPP was determined to intensify the journey of public service.
