Peshawar, (Urdupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2025) Media professionals have confirmed their commitment to support Pakistan’s fight against polio by raising public awareness and removing horms to obstruct weaker people into vaccination of unsafe population.
This rival of media persons dumped in a two -day engagement session with Health Beat reporters Valley in Abobabad.
The session from Peshawar from Peshawar, Chairman Peshawar Paes Club, M. Riyaz and General Secretary, Tayyab Usman was attached.
KP, Inuva Yau, head of UNICEF Polio Team, was also presented along with other EOC officials, WHO and Health Department on the occasion.
Welcoming the participants, coordinator EOC KP, Shafiullah Khan said that there is a lot of role in highlighting the importance of vaccination among people in the media.
Polio elimination is known as ‘national emergency’, coordinator Eco KP Urdia persons to free our country from crippled disease and to participate in this national cause for saving millions from permanent disability.
Shafiullah Khan said that achieving the goal of polio -free Pakistan is not possible with cooperation from all areas of the society and in this regard, EOC garnner supports health professionals, media individuals, religious scholars, teachers, social media inflickers and security forces.
“This war can be won as Pakistan through collective efforts and Afghanistan makes the only polio diasis epidemiology block in the world”, he commented.
The engagement session aims to achieve the co -orders from the media individuals as to how the awakening campaigns can be made more effective and impressive, that continues.
Communications Officer UNICEF, Shadab Yonus stated that the role of media is very important in large -scale sensations about polio drops to their children.
He said that media can serve as a catalyst in some areas about the importance of vaccination and in demolishing myths.
SHADAB also made a presentation on the effective and effective report on polio elimination by focusing on data -powered authentic purpose stories and misleading reports.
