Joseph Parker hopes that Olyxander Yusk will “honor” the WBO’s compulsory title defense against New Zealand.
When Daniel Dobos was knocked down on July 19 at the Vague Stadium, he re -united four major heavyweight World Championships.
Parker, the WBO’s interim title list, is a compulsory challenge for the full WBO World Title, and then the reason.
Parker, a former world champion, is hoping to box USY before the end of the year.
Now they have been ordered to fight, the teams concerned with the WBO have been given a 30 -day period to reach an agreement, before the fight is bid.
New Zealand promoter David Hagens said Sky Sports: “Joseph Parker is happy that Olsandar Yusk has been given 30 days to negotiate and fight for the controversial heavyweight world champions.”
Yusk, who has twice been a controversial champion in heavyweight and has not had a professional competition, though the WBO can vacate the belt and maintain IBF, WBA and WBC titles.
But Hagens said: “Joseph is hoping and praying that the USIC would like to defend the honor of the non -controversial champion, which many people have not received in recent times.
“Hardly anyone has held this honor for more than a few months, so we are hoping that the USIC will want to govern as a heavyweight champion and will respect a part of the belt against Joseph on the Interh.
He added, “We did not withdraw from Joseph, who fought the next Joseph.” Many people are suggesting that he will not do, but for me this is a soft result if he does not do so.
“We are optimistic to fight Ask and we hope to do this before the end of the year.”
