Jackababad; Explosion on railway track, partial damage to Jafar Express

Three bogies of Jafar Express were killed as a result of an explosion on a railway track near Sultan Kot and Abad station in Jacobabad.

According to railway officials, the explosion on the track occurred at 10 am and 20 minutes, due to the explosion, 3 bogies of the Jaffer Express were away from the tracks.

There was no casualties in the blast, but the rescue teams have been sent to the affected track.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah reported the railway track blast and directed the injured to provide immediate medical assistance. The Chief Minister ordered a thorough investigation of the blast.

The Chief Minister was informed in briefing that the explosion occurred when the train was crossing the track in which many people were injured, fortunately no casualties were made.

The departure of other trains has been temporarily suspended due to railway traffic being affected.

The Chief Minister ordered that those responsible for the incident will be brought at the forefront of the law. He said that the blast was an action against the state, no one would be forgiven.
