“I want to be the best version of myself and at least give myself the opportunity to do what happens next.”
Jack Batland acknowledged that it was not a “smooth journey” in the Rangers and that he was determined to prove his value under Russell Martin.

“I never looked away from it and thought I needed to change or get out. I needed to put my head up, put my chest out and move on with it.”

“It has been pleasant, I’ve really enjoyed the manager’s messages, I really enjoyed the style that he is trying to bring to us.
“As a watchman, it allows you to show you a different aspect, which people may not know that you are with. I have enjoyed looking at it and hopefully they will be able to show it.”
