The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that the security cabinet has approved a plan proposed by the Israeli army to handle the city of Gaza.
According to the news agency AFP, the statement said that the Israeli army will prepare to control the city of Gaza, distributing humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside the war areas, as part of the plan to defeat Hamas in Gaza Strip.

The statement said, “The security cabinet adopted five principles to end the war, through the majority of the vote: canceling Hamas, withdrawal of all prisoners (living and dead), Gaza Strip to Non -Military, Israeli Security Control in Gaza Strip, an alternative civil administration and an civilian administration.”
He further said: “The decisive majority of the security cabinet ministers believed that the alternative plan to be given to the security cabinet would neither defeat Hamas nor the return of hostages.”
Calling a meeting of its security cabinet on Thursday, Netanyahu said that Israel had planned to take full control of Gaza, but was not intended to rule.
