A lifestyle for GazaAbout 2 million displaced inhabitants were back on Monday, with convoys of moving trucks. They transported food aid urgently after a sudden reversal of politics by Israel.

The government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Announced during the weekend that this would allow more food and medicine to enter the Palestinian territory torn by war after images of hungry and malnourished aroused international condemnation.

Israel has also authorized humanitarian aerial drops. Sunday, Israel, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates parachuted in the ruins of Gaza.

The drops are dramatic, but they are expensive, ineffective and potentially dangerous. People were injured and even killed by heavy pallets During the past, airmen fall on the territory.

To meet the need, most of the aid will have to enter Gaza by truck. Each truck can transport between 4 and 10 times more than a parachute.

After 22 months of war, including months when Israel blocked all the help in Gaza, people are so hungry that they pay convoys.

The video of the weekend showed that men are climbing to shoot bags of truck flour before they can reach assistance deposits.

International charitable organizations have a new name for this – “self -distribution” – and it is a graphic representation of the level of despair in the Palestinian enclave.

On Sunday, 120 aid trucks moved to Gaza. At least it was to arrive on Monday – but it is not enough. Before the start of the war, more than 500 trucks per day were the norm.

“We haven’t seen anything,” she said. “No help … field, air or elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, war is raging. The Israeli army said it would cause fighting in highly populated areas from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time for an unrecognized number of days. But there have been more reports on people shot by shooting trying to access food.

In a statement on Monday, the United Nations agency responsible for helping the Palestinians, UNRWA, praised the Israeli declaration of humanitarian breaks and the relaxation of restrictions using Aid to Gaza, but that stressed that much more was necessary.

UNRWA has warned that, according to its data, “1 in 5 children is poorly nourished in Gaza City. More children are hungry; bearing the number of deaths … to more than 100.”

“We hope that UNRWA will finally be allowed to bring thousands of trucks loaded with food, medication and hygiene. They are currently in Jordan and Egypt while waiting for the green light,” said the agency. “The opening of all the passages and flooding of Gaza with the help is the only way to avoid more deepening of the famine among the inhabitants of Gaza. What is necessary is at least 500/600 basic trucks every day.”

The Israeli army has also said that it would provide safe routes for aid trucks to provide and distribute their expenses via Gaza. This is something for which the UN help agencies have put pressure on and, if it works, it will allow the food from which we have finally reached the people who have so badly need it.
