Islamabad:
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Washington DC arrived, where he was received by Pakistani Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and senior embassy officials.
According to the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar will meet with US State Secretary Marco Rubio during a visit to the United States, which will be in the Ministry of External Affairs today.
The meeting will discuss various aspects of Pak-US relations, especially focus on promoting trade, investment and economic cooperation.
On this occasion, the two leaders will also discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest.
During his visit to Washington, Ishaq Dar will also address the famous US think tank The Atlantic Council, where it will highlight the position of Pakistan, region’s status and the future of Pak-US relations.
