IRS dialog “Host” Saudi Arabia as a growing stakeholder “in the Middle East”.

Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July 2025) The Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) hosted a practical talk on the “Middle East” Role of Saudi Arabia AIS “the role of Saudi Arabia AIS”, which is a kind of type of developed necklear traveler of the country.

Principal Talk was Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Dean and Professor of the School of Politics and International Relations, Quad-e-Azam University.

Dr. Jaspal discussed both nuclear energy opportunities and challenges for Arabia, not its developed nature, especially in response to the Middle East in the Middle East, including the resurrection of the Inter-State War after about three decades.

Dr. Jaspal identified four primary drivers behind Saudi Arabia’s nuclear policy. “One of the drivers of Saudi Arabia’s nuclear policy is a strategic comparis with Iran, followed by Iran’s ability to pursue Rimen’s ability and its ability with NPTIN. International politics, followed by the stability and durability of nuclear energy.”

Addressing the concerns around nuclear power, Dr. Jaspal said that nuclear power is linked to re -shaping the nature of war. He argued that those who carry all types of energy risks, the results of atomic accounts are statistically low, which they are associated with coal mining, a point that is often height by nuclear power supporters.

Dr. Jaspal highlighted the internal and external challenges faced by Saudi Arabia.

He said that under Article III and IV of NPT, Saudi Arabia has the right to achieve nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. They are noted that civil enrichment facilities carry the ability to reproduce for nuclear weapons products.
