Iranian communication satellite “Nahed 2” was successfully launched

Russia has successfully sent an Iranian -Med communication satellite into space, crossing another milestone at Iran’s space program.

The mission was completed by a rocket rocket from Vasteuchini cosmeodrome in Russia, in which a satellite called “Nahed -2” was sent into orbit.

According to the official Iranian media, the satellite is completely the result of the hard work of Iranian engineers and weighs about 110 kg.

This success is an expression of Iran’s space technology, but progress is being seen with anxiety in Western countries, especially the United States and Europe. Western governments are concerned that Iran’s space program can actually be an attempt to improve its ballistic missile technology, which can pose a threat to military balance in the region.

Interestingly, the satellite launch came at a time when the conversation about the nuclear deal between Iran and European countries has once again started in Istanbul. Analysts are also seeing Iran’s space activities as a possible strategy of diplomatic pressure.

It should be remembered that in the last December, Iran also claimed that it successfully sent a satellite carrier for the heaviest payload of its history through a satellite carrier.
