Intention to identify Palestine; Prime Minister Italy

Italian Prime Minister Meloni has said that I am in favor of identifying the Palestinian state, but allowed it to be implemented first.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper “La Ripbelica”, Meloni said, “I am in favor of the Palestinian kingdom, but not in favor of identifying it before it was established.”

He said that if some are identified on paper which is not actually present, the problem may seem soluble, although it is not.

On Friday, the Italian Foreign Minister also said that the process of identifying the Palestinian state should take place when the new Palestinian leadership recognizes Israel.

The statement came at a time when France announced the recognition of Palestinian state at the September 1 meeting at the United Nations General Assembly, which is strongly condemned by Israel and the United States.

On the other hand, a German official spokesperson has said that there is no intention of currently identifying the Palestinian state. At this time, the first priority is a long progress in the direction of two -two solutions in the Middle East.
