New Delhi, (UNI): The death of Indian nurse Nimisha Priya has been sentenced to death in Yemen for the assassination of Hurthi -Controlled Capital Sana – this success has been achieved, which has been received thanks to the efforts of Indian diplomatic officials who were in constant touch with the authorities.
Sources said that “Indian nurse Nimisha Priya has postponed execution in Nimisha Priya’s case on 16 July 2025.
Sources said that the Government of India has provided all possible help since the onset of the case and in this regard, the government has made concerted efforts to demand more time to resolve the case with the other side with the other side at the request of Nimisha Priya’s family.
Despite the sensitivity of the case, the Indian officials were regularly in touch with the office of local jail authorities and prosecutors, due to which their execution was postponed.
A 37 -year -old nurse in Pulkad district of Kerala was sentenced to death for the murder of a Yemeni citizen.
According to reports, his legal advisor has offered to pay around Rs 8.5 crore as a deity in efforts to save him.
It should be noted that Nimisha Priya went to Yemen after completing her nursing training program in 2011. He was arrested in 2017 for killing his business partner Talal Abdul Mehdi.
Three years later, a Yemeni court sentenced him to death in the case in 2020, and in the past, the President also rejected his mercy request, after which his execution date was fixed on 16 July.
